Blake Robinson, also known as Blakus, is an Australian composer for media. From raw intimate emotion to massive cinematic spectacle, the distinct sound of Blakus has found its place alongside some of the biggest movies and games in the last few years, including STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, JEDI: FALLEN ORDER, BATTLEFIELD V and more.
Performing as a cellist in orchestras from an early age, Blake developed a passion for orchestration and now produces high quality, orchestrally driven music in a range of styles. Combined with a verve for audio production and mixing, Blake’s music maintains high production standards.
In recent years, Blake Robinson has worked with a number of Hollywood production labels, in particular – REALLY SLOW MOTION, with whom he exclusively worked for a number of years. Currently, Blake spends most of his time working closely with directors and editors to create custom music for various video game titles and film projects. In addition, Blake writes production music that is heard every day in documentaries, TV shows, advertising campaigns and major sporting events worldwide.
